STAGE:	1, 2 and 3

WHY DID YOU JOIN THE WALK:
I’m fortunate enough to have so far in my life been blessed with good health, however I have personally been affected by cancer, with my very special grandfather passing away with the disease. I also knew the very beautiful Belinda Emmett...as a 13 year old my first big gig was a Channel 7 Christmas Carols, singing with Belinda. She was so supportive of me and so encouraging. I was thinking of both my grandfather and Belinda whilst doing the walk.

WHAT TRAINING HAD YOU DONE:
I have the best personal trainer in the world! She designed a special program for me in the lead-up to the walk, training 3 - 4 times a week.

WHAT DID YOU LOOKFORWARD TO:
Being a part of a wonderful cause with such wonderful people. It was such a thrill to finish the walk, and an even bigger thrill to raise money to put towards cancer research - but we still need more! I also looked forward to taking in the sights of the Great Wall of China; that alone was amazing!

AFTER YOUR WALK - WHAT DID YOU DO TO CELEBRATE:
Had a massage, and a nice hot bath - I needed it!
