Olivia Newton-John will perform at Melbourne Cup this year, singing the national anthem. Her Cancer and Wellness Appeal has been nominated as the main beneficiary of the Melbourne Cup Carnival's pin and win fundraiser. You can join in the fun and purchase your pin to support the appeal; and go in to the draw to win $100,000 worth of prizes.

Fellow walkers Sir Cliff Richard, Leeza Gibbins and Sigrid Thornton have stepped up their commitment to help Olivia's Cancer and Wellness Centre Appeal - accepting an invitation to become ambassadors for the Appeal.

Dannii Minogue said she fulfilled a lifetime’s dream meeting her childhood idol Olivia Newton-John, who was her inspiration for getting into show business. The pair bonded when Dannii joined Olivia’s Great Walk cancer fundraiser in April 2008. Inspired by Olivia’s cause, Dannii has accepted the star’s invitation to work with her as an Ambassador for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre Appeal.

More than $100,000 was raised at the "Olivia and Friends" gala fundraising concert for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre Appeal, at the Sydney State Theatre on 30th September.
